See setupHISTORICAL ARCHIVE, FROZEN AT 2024-04-18 — a registered-office address timeline for Hong Kong companies, not a current-address lookup. Every source feeding it stopped delivering on that date (the modern e-services API withdrew the address field), so nothing here has been re-observed since, and roughly a fifth of the addresses flagged is_current have been superseded by a move we did not see. Use it to reconstruct where a company was and when it moved; do not use it to verify where a company is today. One row per company per distinct registered-office address observed on record; effective_from/effective_to are the registry's own dates where given (else null) and reach back to 1902, first/last_observed_at are our observation bounds. Coverage: 68.4% of active (non-dissolved) Hong Kong companies have at least one address on record here.

The evidence
Frozen archive. Address observation stopped on 2024-04-18 when the Companies Registry's modern e-services API withdrew the registered-office field; no address here has been re-observed since. Measured 2026-09-02 against the registry's live open-data API, 21.2% of the addresses marked current had already been superseded.
